KBO program is a 3-year residency program that enables the graduates to be competent orthodontists providing the highest standards of care and life long learners.

We place heavy emphasis on clinical exposure and involvement in diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment execution, and post treatment protocols in an evidence-based approach.

Multiple orthodontic appliances and philosophies will be taught including: Pre-adjusted edgewise appliances, removable appliances, clear aligners, functional appliances, and lingual braces.

In addition, the program includes a variety of core orthodontic courses throughout its duration with heavy emphasis on literature review both classical and current. We highly encourage and support our residents to carry out research projects throughout the program.

Our faculty include four full time and multiple part time clinicians/lecturers. We aim to collaborate with regional and international orthodontic residency programs. By successfully completing the program, the residents will be awarded the "Kuwait Board of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics certificate".
